I absolutely love a good massage, and I have been a huge fan of Thumper Massagers for years because they give a very effective deep penetrating massage. Time permitting, I will often use a Thumper Mini Pro 2 on my back, shoulders, and neck prior to using my inversion table. It tends to loosen up the muscle prior to inverting, which I find beneficial depending on what I had been doing that day or how stressful things were.
A couple months ago I was talking with someone at Thumper, and he told me that “warming up” for inversion with a Thumper Versa Pro is a great way to loosen muscles prior to inversion. There’s a picture of the Versa here, and as you can see, it looks like a foot massager. I had used one in the past, and really didn’t think that this would have any impact whatsoever on an inversion experience.
Well, I was wrong. After several weeks I finally used a Versa right here at the office and then got on an inversion table immediately. The results were amazing considering that I didn’t think it would help at all. See, Thumper uses a massage technology that “thumps” at high speed, getting the deep penetration that can not be matched by other massagers on the market. Most others simply vibrate the skin and maybe the upper layer of muscle. Using the Versa on my lower body provided deep massage all the way to my lower back and hips, so my muscles were pre-relaxed prior to getting on the table.
It did make my inversion experience more pleasurable, so I even brought a unit home for my wife to try. She had a similar experience to mine.
