There’s no question that early morning workouts tend to be great as far as adherence goes because nothing external will ever crowd out your session at 6 am. The only thing that might however is yourself.

Another simple strategy to make your early morning workouts a habit is to meet a buddy at the gym. When you know someone else will be there and you won’t be facing the dark gym alone when you feel the rest of the world is sleeping, it’ll be all that more motivating to get up.
Plus, if you skip out they’ll show up and be alone, and you wouldn’t want to be that person now, would you?
Have A Delicious Pre-Workout Meal Planned
Food is definitely a strong motivator for most people so one trick you can use to get yourself out of bed is to have a delicious pre-workout meal planned. Now, obviously you don’t want to be sitting down to a full blown meal at 6 am, especially right before intense exercise, but you do still need to get some nutrients and energy into you.
Whether you choose to have a shake or you make a food-based meal is up to you, but find something that you really enjoy and your taste buds may be the driving force for getting out of bed.
With so many different protein powders to choose from now, there are some that prove to be mighty tasty options.
Commit To 10 Minutes
Finally, the last way to get yourself out of bed is to simply commit to ten minutes. Make it a deal that you can go for ten minutes and if you’re still not feeling like continuing, you can go back home and relax.
Sometimes it’s simply the stress of thinking about intense exercise that you are dreading while laying there comfortable under the warm blankets, so this mind game can quickly do the trick to change that.
Once you’re up and warmed up, you’ll find the thought of intense exercise to not be nearly as dreadful and likely just stay and complete the session.
